I'll watch the video and see what their thoughts were, but if their main point was just that it leaned into the nostalgia of the original too much then I'm probably just going to disagree on principle that this is necessarily a bad thing. The movie was not a half-assed cash grab. It introduced new characters that I cared about (Maybe not Trevor and Lucky as much but everyone else, definitely. Particularly Phoebe and Podcast.) The humor was very dry like the original and it all just sort of worked for me.
