First off, no, that's not your god damn name, you're a fucking Palpatine whether you like it or not. Second, who in the hell did she want to take after with said name? Luke? He's literally the only actual Skywalker she met and he spent their entire time together being a grumpy old man telling her the Jedi need to end. Rey was infinitely closer to Han as a father figure in TFA and Leia by the time of TRoS, but fuck the Solo name I guess. Leia never took up the Skywalker name since she hated Vader's guts. But I guess that would've made her kissing Ben Solo even more awkward if she took his name lmao? Oops. Yeah of the 3 main characters from the original trilogy, Leia is obviously the one who had the best relationship with Rey, so if she took anyone's name, it should've been Organa.
