| Topic | What series and/or piece of media comes to mind when you hear the term 'weeb'? |

I figured that was as mainstream as DBZ to the point that it crossed over to cool people.Naruto and DBZ are two of the most recognizable anime series to the casual observer. Thing is, Naruto is so, so much more rooted in Japanese iconography and language. Words like "jutsu" and the whole ninja hand sign thing just make it twenty times more 'weeb' than DBZ. So, between the two, people see Naruto as being significantly more of a weeb thing than DBZ even though both are at similar levels of popularity. They think Naruto is ultra-weeb because they don't know that the real ultra-weeb stuff is a lot harder to come across in public. --- I write Naruto Fanfiction. But I am definitely not a furry. ...
