I watched a bunch of "best metroidvanias" and nobody even mentioned this one. Would you start with the first one or jump right to 2? PumpkinCoach posted... Looks like Legacy of the Wizard meets Mega Man, but with better visuals and (hopefully) mechanics. skullbone posted... You should check out the "Indie Friends" bundle on the Dead Cells steam page Dead Cells Guacamelee 2 (another great game) Curse of the Old Gods (haven't played but looks good) Skul: The Hero Slayers (might lose interest after 25-30 hours) Discounts if you already own some of the games and a bigger discount for the whole bundle. Would probably only be about $20 if you already have Dead Cells. I have played Hades. And I saw this bundle! I haven't played Dead Cells, actually, and was looking at both it and -- as a result of the bundle -- Guacamelee. The other two are probably good, too, but they don't appeal as strongly. Not sure what to make of Dead Cells, though. Looks more roguelike than metroidvania; sometimes that's good and sometimes it's not. . Not familiar with the Scooby game. I do have a PS2, but I'd probably have a hard time finding the game. . Edit: Oh, I skipped the Yoku's suggestion. Whoops. Pinball-vania sounds so weird.
