While it's on my mind since it has two songs up today, I figured now would be a good time to point out to those who didn't know, Beauty and the Beast was intended, from the beginning, to be eventually adapted into a Broadway musical, which is why you see many Broadway-like elements with its musical numbers that you hadn't seen to such a degree in prior Disney films (a genuine opening number that introduces the characters and gets the story rolling, two big ensemble numbers, a climactic villain song, etc). Interesting how they followed that formula closely for the next few movies they released after that, with great success mind you. --- Don't mind me.
