He's great for magic teams and I've found him to be serviceable for physical teams (having untyped quickcast is great and I don't really like using Tyro, though having to rely on OtV for critfix kinda sucks). I do have his AA2 honed which I think is probably pretty important for the physical teams, but AA1 should probably be better than a second AA2 use for mage teams anyway.
