Seattle wants a new team Vancouver could probably actually get support for them now ironically enough. A lot of the stars from the Vancouver era are still very popular here. Abdur-Rahim often comes back to the city for visits and there was a night dedicated to him at a Canucks game a few years back, and Bibby and Reeves are still popular figures here, and there's Grizzlies throwbacks all over the place. The dollar was so garbage back then and Vancouver hadn't really come into it's own as a rich city yet.
