Topic	i just want to play FF14. why is there a queue :(

FFXIV was hitting highest all-time players marks during the usual dead time of the last expansion due to streamers/celebrities bringing their followings plus former WoW players. And considering the servers could barley handle the previous expansions, the writing was on the wall for this to be a serious problem when Endwalker hit. Yet they did nothing about it and here we are.
