| Topic | Remember when Sony was all like "no more loading on your ps5 games!" |
| Son Of Spam 12/13/21 12:20:27 PM #10: | The load times aren't really the big selling point. The big deal is that developers can design their games without being bottlenecked by a 5400RPM hard drive. They don't need to put in things like corridors purely to hide load times and things like that. The problem now is most games are still cross-gen, and the silicon shortage has only extended that. It won't be until the PS4 and Xbox One are abandoned that most games will start being designed around the SSD. --- 17 years on Gamefaqs, and I still don't have a signature. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
