In my country, the Liberal parties are shrinking rapidly. The good liberal ideas are deeply ingrained in policies and in the majority of the people so it is not a loss. The horrible Conservative-Liberal Government which ruled Sweden 2006-2014 planted the seeds themselves for Liberalisms destruction by showing how toxic it is. The poor and the middle-class got worse off while the richest got richer. Healthcare, public education and other safety nets saw cuts. Cutbacks on law enforcement and the Armed Forces too.
