Topic	What do you think of Stanley Kubrick? What are your favourite films of his?

He has an interesting history seeing as most of his stuff were adaptations of others work but repurposed to speak his voice. There's something about his aspect ratio I find comforting as well. I dunno how else to explain it, but the moment a Kubrick film begins, it's so obviously Kubrick, and I just kind of fall into it. Kubrick films are great at keeping my undivided attention both with their aesthetic and the meat of the story and how it's told. Kubrick and Altman hit me the same way.
