It was pretty bad. Dime store Morpheus and Smith pretty much ruined it for me. Not to mention the whole, Smith comes to the rescue. Why? . . . Who knows. Neo loses a bunch of his powers, and Trinity is suddenly just as powerful as him. Why? . . . Just because? I've never seen so many dramatic plot moves with absolutely no reason or explanation. It had me for the first 20 minutes or so, then it went right down the shitter.

I think the idea is that as long as Neo is free, Smith is also free. If The Analyst has him under his control then Smith will too. Or something. This was poorly explained.

Trinity has Chosen One abilities , at least as far as I can figure, because both Neo and Trinity were used to power the new Matrix. My guess is that she is deeply connected with it. Same with Neo.

though there is also the idea that they have always been linked. Neo isnt much of a chosen one without Trinity. That even in the real world they have a very powerful connection. Or... something.

just another thing poorly explained. Like the foundation is there but then they just dont actually do any proper explanation.
