With finding competent candidates, having them go through the interview process, offer negotiations, etc, youre looking at a couple of months to replace a senior engineer. And thats if the recruiter is decent and aggressive at finding people. The tech market is a shit show competing for candidates right now. They have so many options. Every time I go to make an offer, they have 3-4 other offers on the table. Just because you think their app is nbd doesnt mean theyre not talented. They wouldnt be paying $400k if they were shit. ...
