That's not really a defense, because younger people can still die from it, or suffer potentially fatal complications. A friend of mine in his 40s who caught it still had to spend multiple days in a hospital, and said it was the worst thing he's ever experienced in his entire life. And he still had issues related to it months afterward. Because a large percentage of the population are stupid and/or disingenuous. They have about the same mortality rate.
