Topic	Should I play Vesperia Definitive or Berseria first?

It may feel restricting playing V a bit if you play and enjoy a newer game in the series first. Berseria is free roam on the battlefield while Vesperia allows it with a button press, but doesn't have it as the primary way to play...it's hard to describe. It kinda matters how good a Tales player you are to really use the free roam option well. I'm middle of the road...play on moderate and it's a challenge. Berseria is my favorite of the 6 Tales games I've played (currently playing Arise and still feel that way) and it's mostly due to the cast, though also because of the way it handles weaknesses and leveling up. Its certainly not the maps. It's maps are some of the weakest of all the games I've played. As much as I like Vesperia's cast, I relate more to Berseria's. Their emotional connection to the story just seems darker and more complex.
