If people are concerned about them being used as a way to gather evidence illegally, then it could additionally be with the qualifier that footage is only released if a complaint is filed against a cop wearing the camera or appearing in the video, and cannot be used for any other purpose. [LFAQs-redacted-quote] Oh sure, I'm not arguing that. If it were up to me they would be impossible to turn off and the footage dumped to a third party company.
