I knew someone who made authentic Cornish pasties for the local farmer's markets, and fuck they were bland just as-is. I'd bite into them then get some kind of sauce happening inside.

Considering how cornish pasties are seasoned mince and potato in a heavy pastry, idk wtf sauce you had in it, but it was wrong.

If you're relying on horseradish to keep food from being bland, I'm afraid you've got a thing or two to learn about seasoning.

Horseradish is a seasoning, problem is you don't use seasoning.

Sure, it's pretty good on roast beef. But that's the pinnacle of English food: pretty good roast beef. :)

It's good on everything, and we have lamb with mint sauce, we do a lot of things good.
