Just responded to an emergency. Lady had her leg cut by something, she didn't know what, and was bleeding a good bit. Her piece of shit grand daughter wouldn't respond to phone calls, so she tried a couple others and nothing. So she called me, knowing I'm sick

Masked up and gloved up with sanitizer and wrapped her up with some anti bacterial salve and stopped the bleeding. I also took her some leftovers I had and fed em to her because her grand daughter "took care of her" today by bringing her a sausage biscuit and a hot pocket, and that was it

Holy fuck this kinda thing is what I dread. I'd like to get into home care eventually but shit like this is just... fuck that would be hard.

If I learned anything from relatives who ended up in care its that so many are so neglected by family. A vast majority. Its so sad.
