Honestly? It might be pretty hard. Microsoft's bread and butter is cloud storage and server maintenance at scale. Sony may legitimately not have developers with the skill set to build something like a Game pass, nor might they have the spare server capacity to do it without everything running like garbage.

Sony also has traditionally relied on exclusivity by third-party developers, so their contracting and licensing model might make it really hard for them to build up a large enough Initial library compared to Microsoft that can throw up a ton of stuff because they're all first party now.

I'm not so much talking the cloud and xPlay and whatnot, but the ability to put all their 1st party games and exclusives and whatnot should be able to be in a thing like GamePass. idk why they have to go super crazy and make all these crazy tiers and whatnot. It's just BS fluff.
