Steven Universe ends a little too neatly, but The Movie and Future, whatever their flaws, complicate the picture beautifully. The fact that Steven, specifically, doesn't know what to do with himself now that no one needs his help anymore is a fantastic concept, and the fact that they actually confront how goddamned traumatized he was/would realistically be by everything that happened makes it pretty unique. --- I'm Queen of Tomorrow baby!
