In comparison to the other great games I've played a few months ago like Shin Megami Tensei V though, it is not even close to that level. As an open-world game? Calling it BotW lite is really giving it too much credit. So while this is definitely a step in the right direction for the series, it is certainly not a game that has taken the franchise to new heights like how BotW, Super Mario Odyssey, Metroid Dread and Fire Emblem: Three Houses did.
