Im sure the nurses see that all the time.

Hope you have a quick recovery.
Thanks! Yeah she was just like, "gonna tape this down" and went about business. We were talking about cats and wildlife, so it was kinda weird having a casual conversation while chubbed out. For me anyway.

Great job TC. I hope to have one soon. I may adopt once I find a good partner, but no way in hell will i ever be okay with having a kid when we're already taking the planet as is.
Thanks. There are a lot of reasons I don't want to have kids and the environmental impact was probably the least important one but still important stacked on top of all the others. Don't see myself ever adopting either though because my overall stability is fragile. Never know where life takes us though.

Just $650? That's cheap.
$599, actually. I don't know where I got $650 from.

Ahhh, snap. I've got the same procedure scheduled for a little over a month from now.

Any tips besides what they already told me? Can I take the metro (subway) after, will I be ready, or should I call an uber?
They covered everything pretty well in the material they sent me when I made the appointment. There wasn't anything unexpected.

I took a Lyft both ways and didn't have any issues.

Did it hurt?
The actual procedure didn't. The numbing spray they use is administered by some kind of contraption that feels like a series of rubber band snaps. One of the early ones hit me square on the right one and that hurt but the numbing kicked in and I didn't feel too many of them. I didn't even know when he actually started and it was over in probably not even 20 minutes.

I'm having some pain and swelling now though that otc stuff isn't really helping. I'm icing and I took some tylenol. They gave me a prescription for something stronger but I generally do not handle prescription pain reliever well so I might just ride it out.
