A lot of those guys, even if they are fit, aren't necessarily healthy given how much bad broscience surrounds that culture. I feel like endurance, cycling, hiking, rock climbing, etc. tend to skew more left. I doubt there is a huge trend in reality though, people of different fitness levels come from all over the spectrum. The right wing skew in places like YouTube is because conservative men tend to have more fragile masculinity, and things like being physically strong are given a lot of value. Even if you're a left wing lifter, lifting isn't really part of your political identity ... Copied to Clipboard! |
