My elderly grandma is taken care of by stay at home nurses that come to her house, sleep over, work in shifts and the job is pretty chill. For every hour they spend cleaning her up and feeding her they spend like 5 hours sitting down, chilling, watching t.v and looking at their phones. It's worse in a nursing home where there are a ton of old people needing that same type of care-- they're often understaffed too, so there's not all that down time. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
