I believe it. People didn't give two shits about the quarantine. If people were getting that lonely, they would've went out. They don't care. They just pretended they did on social media.

This. I work at a hotel, and as soon as the quarantine and travel restrictions were out in place we started selling out every night. Business and people travelling picked up so much. Most of them used the excuse that they were trying to get home or be with family before quarantining but that stopped being believable when they were back every other week, or after a month and they had supposedly only just then prepared to go home.

Then of course, most of them would threaten me if they caught anything while out. Then getting angry about how busy we were and that we should turn travellers away... Ugh, you realize you're travelling right? Obviously a lot these people are not the brightest, but it really highlighted the ones with no awareness.
