It's a reference to the positive response the War on Terror received among Republicans. if he actually said that was specifically a critique of republicans he's really dumb lol. if it's evocative of anything it's the initial push for the invasion when it was a bipartisan issue, i guess --- I pray god will curse the writer, as the writer has cursed the world with this beautiful, stupendous creation, terrible in its simplicity, irresistible in truth ...
