Everyone's dog never hurt anything until it does. Pounds can and will adopt out dogs with caveats like "no cats" or even "no kids" I've volunteered for my local shelter. They don't put out dogs that are deemed dangerous. Those caveats are made to help the dog and the family ease into a new situation with as much little stress as possible. Putting an animal into a new situation is very stressful for them. Dogs are animals and don't adapt to stress the way humans do. --- The night brims with defiled scum,and is permeated by their rotten stench. Just think.
