Regardless, this case was a textbook example of "when keeping it real goes wrong". Martin had lost Zimmerman yet chose to hide in a bush and attack him after texting his gf that he's going to fuck him up.
You don't get to evade someone and then claim self defense (as the prosecution did) after literally bushwhacking them.

That said, Zimmerman should have been tried and convicted of manslaughter after he called 911 and was told to back tf off and stop playing cop. Prior to that call he was a concerned citizen, after that call he was basically just hunting a teenager.

They both showed an extreme lack of judgement and common sense that night.
