Carmeggedon: The term the local media is using to overhype and fearmonger LA drivers because the city is closing down a section of the road to repair a 50 year old bridge.
The CW news was saying that the road would be gridlocked as far south as Newport Beach. Yet, I just drove on it around Long Beach and it was pretty empty
