Before I move on I'd just like to say that what started as a very silly writing project made on pure whimsy has actually gotten me to improve as a writer. This type of flash fiction where every entry almost demands something interesting to happen on every line is sometimes a challenge to do well. It might surprise some of you to know that many of the chapters in this are revised multiple times before I post them. Sometimes they are minor revisions, sometimes I look at whole paragraphs and realize they just don't live up to the standard of Doom. This is by far and away my most successful board project ever at 100 chapters now, not even including the few side stories and "Doom responds to the users" I've written. It is funny, writing this actually made me realize what I am truly talented at as a writer: Being villainous. It has given me direction in my writing that has surprised me.
It means a lot to me to know that a lot of people enjoy this, because I am going to make this my trade soon. This week has probably been the best week in my life with how many new and exciting opportunities I have been given. And those chances were given to me because I worked hard on writing about dead Naruto characters and now the glorious adventure of one Doctor Victor Von Doom. I think that might be a first.
I want to take a moment to thank the person on board 8 who has driven Doom the most over the past year and two months: Daranix. Most of you will barely recognize that name, if at all, but he is the person who tells me when my writing is not up to snuff and demands more out of me because he knows I am capable. I write Doom, but Daranix makes sure that I write Doom until it is right.
