Vince tried to pin the blame on Cena,
Cena is entirely to blame though. If Vince gets his way and the match doesn't happen, the WWE Championship is 100% safe and the paying fans still get a good Cena vs. Del Rio match.

Yeah but Cena has a track record of success for the company. If New Coke guy had been constantly coming up with winning formulas for years and then suddenly New Coke bombs hard, firing him is bad for the company. Yes someone needs to be held accountable, but he could just march right over to Pepsi and start making them money.
That's true, but Coca-Cola is lightyears ahead of Pepsi anyway. And the New Coke disaster is a big one.
