Yeah, I've seen the general sentiment that Raw overall was a letdown after last week and then MitB, but it's good that most people realize that it was a logical and productive next step.
If Punk had actually been there, people would have complained, and rightfully so.
If Cena was actually "fired," people would have crapped on it, and admittedly the track record for WWE supports that reaction.
If Vince for some reason decided on his own not to fire Cena, people would have REALLY crapped on it.
The tournament was fun and it made sense, and the twist at the end was a great way to get around the Cena stip without at all cheapening it.
And now we have a week to discuss where WWE will go with Triple H at the helm. I honestly think they put on the best possible show they could have given this point in the storyline. Maybe the matches could have been a little better but the fact that Raw was practically all wrestling, with all the matches being substantially important (except for the Divas) is not something I am going to poo-poo.
