By the way, this is the first time we get to see Orcrist too. Unless I'm wrong, that is an elvish blade that Thorin is holding. And the only elvish sword he ever uses is Orcrist
As best as I can figure, the runes on the sword do indeed read Orcrist. Took a little bit to figure out because Cirth and Angerthas runes are very similar
