FCW - February 12, 2012
We have THREE commentators tonight! Chris Russo, William Regal, and Byron Saxton! We begin with a segment where apparently earlier in the day, Leakee's ankle was busted. Bo Rotundo and Husky Harris were the ones tasked with finding him and checking on him.
Abraham Washington comes out to the ring.
Regal: I just hope he doesn't come out and sprain his ankle or something.
lol Abe talks to the crowd and says that the Florida Tag Team Titles are vacant! WHAT!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Briley Pierce is injured! ;_; Not little Ziggler! Whyyyyyy? It will be Bo Rotundo & Husky Harris vs Brad Maddox and a partner of his choosing. Maddox comes out looking like he's about to cry and pounds his chest. Abe is nice enough to give him the mic and a hug.
Maddox: Ladies and gentlemen, I have some terrible, tragic, horrible, awful, terrible, tragic news. [Less sad] ...Uh. I don't know how to say this. [Sad again] B-b-b-b-but my former partner, Briley Pierce, injured his right leg. Broke it! Aaaaaah... [He bites his hand] And he will no longer be able to compete. A-Abe, as you know, it's not easy replacing your heart and soul of a tag team partner! It's not easy at all. And I tried my best. I searched high and low, far and wide, for someone to replace-- well, obviously nobody can replace Briley Pierce-- but I tried my very best. So ladies and gentlemen, can you please join me in welcoming my new tag team partner? Eli Cottonwood, everyone!
F***ING BULLS***! So it's Bo Rotundo & Husky Harris vs Brad Maddox & Eli Cottonwood for the Florida Tag Team Titles. Caylee Turner's mic went out when she was introducing the Rotundos. lol Yeeeeah, Maddox is definitely a heel again. Bo is about to go for the Spear, runs off the ropes, and Eli Cottonwood pulls them down while Maddox holds onto the ref for help. Brad Maddox's boots say KICK on them. That is so wonderful. Anywho, it's a pretty standard match. Maddox beats down Bo in the corner and does a cocky swagger back to the middle of the ring, does Bo's Spear hand gesture, when Eli Cottonwood yells at Brad, telling him to finish Bo off. He starts to argue with Eli for a while, and then he turns to face Bo, who nails him with a SURPRISE SPEAR AFTER HE'S BEEN DISTRACTED! This spot never gets old. The Rotundos are the new Florida Tag Team Champions. Brad starts yelling and shoving Eli Cottonwood and blaming him for distracting him. So Eli Cottonwood chokeslams him. I swear to god, Eli Cottonwood has zero charisma.
Seth Rollins is backstage and some chick walks up and sets a laptop in front of him. Seth Rollins says "Shoulder?" and looks confused as she walks away. This chick is apparently Paige. She's very British.
Oh god yes, more Xavier Woods! He's got dreadlocks now! He's becoming more and more like Dee Jay! Uh oh, he's going up against Antonio Cesaro though. Xavier Woods vs Antonio Cesaro now. Regal leaves halfway through to go on the phone. I honestly expected a much more awesome match from these guys. It was pretty good, but not all kinds of epic it should have been. Cesaro wins it with a European Uppercut to the back of the head.
Richie Steamboat gives a promo being psyched about being the 15 Champion. He then says that he looks forward to his rematch with Damien Sandow. And Damien Sandow shouts "Lights on!" And all of the lights in the arena turn on. He walks out. "Lights off!" All of the lights turn off. "Spotlight please!" And a spotlight appears just in time for Richie to Super Kick Damien Sandow in the face. The spotlight follows him as he tumbles. lol
