In other news, I got Devil Survivor: Overclocked. Holy wow, this is like if TWEWY was super boring. Major disappointment so far. On the second in-game day (out of eight), and I don't feel like continuing. Any reason I should keep going?
If you don't like SRPGs I wouldn't continue. I played it for 126 hours to completion according to my 3DS so I'm kind of biased, but I encourage you to keep playing.
The thing is... I like SRPG's, but I'm having trouble seeing where the "strategy" factors into this game. I mean, you can only deploy 4 units right? And the only way to initiate battle is to move directly next to an enemy or have them move directly next to you, right? So basically, the only "strategy" involved is to fuse high-level demons, create teams that can exploit most weaknesses and grind. It seems less like a srpg and more like a really slow turn-based rpg.
