I've heard good thing about later episodes of Dollhouse.
The start was bad enough that I never bothered checking them out, though.
Dollhouse has an alternate opening episode or something that replaces like the first 6 or so terrible episodes.
I don't remember the exact details, but it's something like that. And I would watch the show that way. I stuck through the original airing only because it was Whedon, but there is a massive increase in quality part way through Season 1.
