If you go on the Bethsoft forum you'll see plenty of backslash!
And yeah people are getting extremely tired of the WoW formula, if Rift did good it's because it had a tremendous launch and Rifts which were actually pretty damn interesting, they'll soon be overshadowed by GW2 dynamic events though, so I bet it'll go F2P after GW2's release.
TESO seems to not want to do anything new, and it'll bite it in the ass.
