Time for some controversial opinions.
I really don't like people who have never drank, unless they're allergic to alcohol or have some condition that makes drinking very problematic.
Now it's not because drinking is good or fun or something that everybody needs to do... it's pretty dumb and it's not something that I particularly enjoy doing myself. But not even trying something that plenty of people enjoy because you've seen or heard it have some negative effects on others just seems weak to me. It's like they don't have enough faith in themselves to think that they would be able to handle it and just have a good time without going overboard and doing something stupid.
But I guess that feeling doesn't really have anything to do with drinking and it's more about people who don't like trying new things.
i don't drink because people who actively drink (i'm not talking the occasional glass of wine here) are objectively worse people on average. me drinking won't stop me from being perfect but i still would rather not associate myself with scum!
