Well if you disagree, then you are wrong Anna. Fennel wanted to learn from Archen, which was the entire point of resurrecting it from the machine. Archen is said to be the ancestor if all modern Flying type pokémon according to Fennel, and yet that Archen did not know how to fly. Through the flight training sequence, Ash's and Iris's pokémon are able to teach Archen to take flight, and thus Fennel observes how the first Flying type pokémon actually took flight in a past-present tense collision extravaganza. In the end, she was fine with letting the Archeops go because she had already learned so much about its diet and the science that allowed it to get off the ground.
Your failure to link these critical concepts explain your poor score for this episode. It's not great, but it deserves at least a 5/10.
