Welcome to the Best Playstation 2 Game Ever Contest
After just short of 6 days of nominations, I reached exactly 128 games that got nominated twice or more. This is a great number in my eyes, so i halted nominations early.
Round 1
- There will be 16 groups of 8 games.
- The top 16 nominated games will be seeded, along with the next 16 nominated games to give them a fair chance, and to avoid TOO stacked divisions. The rest of the nominated games will be then randomly divided in to each group.
- The top 5 will progress from each group, leaving us with 80 games for Round 2.
- Voting will be done by giving a +4, a +3, +2 and a +1 for your top 4 games in that division.
Round 2 will likely be a knockout round. With number 1 from group 1 facing number 5 from group 2... Much like UotY format, but with 5 instead of 7. So positioning does count!
And so on with the groups...
(Also note, if you see a duplicate game anywhere or any mistake, tell me, and i'll replace the game with a game of your choice... INCENTIVE MUCH?!)
Also my group names probably suck, tried to base it on the top 2 seeded games in each div. But whatever.
