I'm a vegan. I eat lots of fruit, veggies, tofu, and other plant-based food. However, I am not a plant. I am confident that I am human.
The same logic applies to meat eaters. Meat eaters, I am confident that you are not a cow or chicken. "You are what you eat" doesn't make sense for you either.
Cannibals are what they eat. They eat humans and are humans themselves. The saying actually makes sense for them.
I'm sorry but I just don't understand this phrase and why it is so popular.
