Haxball is the game that has swept the Board 8 nation as of late. Dozens of Board 8ers have plied their trade in this fun and addictive flash game that is a slight mix of soccer and air hockey. The idea of a league has been bandied about for about a month now, so I've decided to pull the trigger, because it would be ridiculously fun.
How the league will work: Obviously, two people form a team. Your team will compete over a league season against the rest of the teams in the league, and at the end of the season whoever has the best record will be the champions.
Your team will face every other team two times, home and away. Matches will be played on Classic with no score limit, and a time limit of six minutes (this is subject to change). For a draw, both teams get one point. For a win, the winners get three points, and obviously you get no points for losing. Whoever has the most points at the end will be champs!
I'm going to try to be there and record every single game, so we can keep track of who has the most assists, who maintains shutout streaks, and most importantly who wins the "Golden Boot" for most goals scored.
As far as determining teams goes, I have some ideas, but I will wait until I get a more clear picture of who is participating in the league before getting into them. For now, I just want you to sign up so I know who is in and who isn't.
