FFIX is one of the more overrated FF games imo. That being said, I like it. I just like the others more. I'm only halfway through CT so I couldn't vote, but either one winning is an acceptable result.
I think FFIX is only really overrated on B8. (And even then I don't agree with that assessment but you know what I mean.)
Among general FF fandom it's got one of those FFVI things going on where its hardcore fans think you're drivel if you don't worship it but otherwise it's often ignored.
