Now that I've asked this question... it's kinda hard to answer. It seems like the future is America's, but Japan has a much richer past.
Yup, definitely
If Japan can get out of this rut they have been in for the last few years (and it seems like they are finally starting to go uphill this fall), then maybe I would choose Japan, but America is also going uphill on top of pretty much just dominating on all fronts.
And is it America as in the West or just USA or just North America? Because Canada has some really good stuff, also some european studios.
