God damn, Layton was like the best leader of any party we've had in ages. The only person even close to matching his charisma right now is Bob Rae. Certainly no one else in the NDP. So this is pretty much gg for them. At least they've got 4+ years to do some searching. (any less and the opposition will immediately call Harper out on it because he ran this election on the platform of there being too many elections)
