being a steam game, I see no reason to get Skyrim as you'll probably be able to get it as part of some christmas steam sale for super cheap
probably $10 if you wait a few more months for another crazy sale
There is 0% chance it goes anywhere under 40 dollars even with Steam sales this year. They never do more than 25% off newer games on those sales.
