the difference is it goes from difficult to understand how it's a problem to IMPOSSIBLE to understand how you see it as a problem. he can get you in with girls. he's your roommate so they'll be willing to talk to you a bit more, either thinking you're gay too or curious as to what kinda straight guy has a gay roommate. both ways it's win/win.
