Instead of just shooting it down out of hand, why doesn't Allen make some restriction like you can't moderate posts on boards where you have an active post? That would help cut down on "mods stir up ****, moderate people who get angry" nonsense.
I'd rather have red or TRE, who are familiar with our users and have a better understanding of our personalities and relationships with each other, look at our marked posts than someone completely from the outside who can't tell when we're joking or when we're being offensive
