Well I will destroy that premise right now. If Future Me had a time machine, he never would have let me put us through Mercenaries 3. There is no scenario where he allows me to do this to us. Therefore, Future Me does not have a time machine, and, without a time machine, I cannot have participated in some stupid angle no one remembers.
It's more likely Boko was responsible and used his mind control powers to make everyone forget.
