Doc Cid is the delightfully insane magicite researcher who leads you to believe he spends 90% of the game talking to himself only to reveal he is actually talking to a God that was initially beyond your comprehension, and in fact had been in contact with said God for years, often neglecting his own family to appease it. Not to mention he's awesome. Yeap. Best Cid.
